# Xpat Events

> Xpat Events (sometimes spelled "Expat Events" or searched as "xpat.events") is an event ticketing marketplace for live concerts, comedy shows, and cultural events. The name "Xpat" is the brandable form of "expat" — we serve expat communities and local audiences alike. Buyers discover events, book tickets directly from verified organizers, and pay seamlessly via the Xpat payment platform. Organizers list events, manage ticket tiers, sell tickets online and offline, run check-ins, and partner with distributors who resell on commission.

The platform is reachable at https://xpat.events. Every event detail page is server-side rendered HTML with schema.org `Event` JSON-LD that describes the event name, date, venue, organizer, and ticket prices. The homepage carries `WebSite` + `Organization` JSON-LD. The site is built on Angular Universal SSR with a Spring Boot REST API behind AWS CloudFront, ALB, and ECS Fargate.
